Marina Quays is residential complex overlooking Dubai Marina in Dubai, the capital of the Emirate of Dubai. The development, located on the corner of Al Gharbi and Al Sufouh streets across the water from Dubai Marina Mall, opened in 2010 and comprises three buildings on a shared podium, two of which cantilever over the adjacent waterway.
History[edit]
The Marina Quays is part of the Dubai Marina project which has been opened since October 17, 2000.[2] The complex was designed by Arif & Bintoak,[1] also responsible for the Concorde Tower. As of 2016, luxury penthouses in the buildings sold in excess of 10 million Dirham.[3] In 2018 five million tonnes of rock was added to create a breakwater for the Marina Quays.[4]
Complex[edit]
The three buildings are joined by shared a podium. It has luxury apartments with panoramic views of the Dubai Marina.[5][6] The two shorter buildings are cantilevered, extending 20m over the Dubai Marina waterway.[7] Amenities include a movie theatre, 24 hour security, a pool, concierge service and a swimming pool.[8][5] The complex includes:
- Marina Quays West, a 41 floor high rise residential tower[9][7]
- Marina Quays East, a 11 floor medium rise residential tower[10][7]
- Marina Quays North, a 11 floor medium rise residential tower[5][11]
