Mario Ambra (born February 7, 1953) is the former mayor of Mountain View. He was dismissed from office on April 23, 2002, following corruption charges[1]. His charges included scheming to gain personal benefit by influencing city officials in order to turn his family's two-acre spread on busy Rengstorff Avenue near Highway 101 into a Porsche dealership or condominiums.
