Career
Mario McPherson (Muriel) started as a photographic journalist.[1] in Madrid[2] working for Zero[3], Shangay[4], GQ, El Mundo[5], EL Diario 16[6] and collaborated with El País[7], Looc Madrid[8], and in 2002 started DJing Electroclash[9] as a hobby, turning it into a business where he performed for Museo Chicote Fashion Week[10]. His first job as a sound engineer was in the movie Ilusiones rotas 11-M and Buscando a Emma from Alex Quiroga[11]

Personal life
Mario McPherson (Muriel) spent most of his life moving around Spain due to the nature of his father’s work. He spent most of his childhood in several cities including Granada, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, and Malaga. His education was mostly in boarding schools. In 1992 he moved to Amsterdam and studied visual arts at The Gerrit Rietveld Academie[1] where he specialised in photography, which led to a career as a photographer when in 1997 he returned to Madrid.[2]
In 2011 he arrived in Edinburgh where he started a new career in Music Production, and then in 2015 began an Ableton course with SOMA Records[3]. He also completed a course in mastering and mixdown with Shoogle Studios and London SSR Studios [4] where he also studied Native Instruments[5] like Maschine and Komplete Kontrol.[1]
