The Mariupol massacre was the killing of Ukrainian civilians during the control of the city of Mariupol. Mass graves were found in a town nearby and satellite images confirmed it on 21 April 2022.
More than 200 graves of bodies have been confirmed by the satellite images.
Siege
On 24 February 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the Siege of Mariupol started, already killing more than 100 people. As of 21 April 2022, the siege has killed more than 21,000. While the massacre itself has killed over 200 to 2000 people.
