Mark Arum (born December 30, 1973) is a radio host with WSB-Radio host of The Mark Arum Show.

Life and career[edit]

Arum grew up in Torrington, Connecticut.

He graduated from Torrington High School in 1991 and Marist College in 1996 with a degree in Communications.

He was hired by WSB Radio in 1997 as a part-time traffic producer. Mark eventually moved to on-air traffic reporting for both WSB Radio and WSB-TV.

Mark became the full-time traffic anchor for WSB-TV in 2002. He retired from his television job in August of 2022.

Mark’s roles with WSB Radio expanded through the 2000’s. He was tabbed to host the pre and post-game shows for the Atlanta Braves radio network and the Atlanta Hawks radio network.

He began hosting a weekend sports talk show in 2001. In 2005 the show changed from a sports talk show to a general talk show. He continued with that program until 2014 when he was given a late night talk show.

After the success of the show from 10-midnight, the show was moved to 7-9pm, then 6-8pm. In early 2020 he took over afternoon drive (4-7pm) on WSB Radio. The show was consistently number one in the time slot, and often the most listened to radio show in Atlanta. In 2023, Arum’s show was moved to the morning time slot.
