From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Mark Bellissimo is a former tech entrepreneur and was CEO of Brandwise.[1] He is now the managing partner of a group of investors that have worked to purchase equestrian showing properties in Wellington, Florida.[2] He is known for the rejuvenation of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, home to the Winter Equestrian Festival,[3] one of the largest and most significant equestrian festivals in the world. The estimated economic impact on the region surrounding the show was estimated at 121 Million as of 2011.[4]

After years of legal wrangling with the Wellington Village Council over zoning restrictions that control development in the Wellington area, Bellissimo made the decision to branch out. He was one of the founders of Tryon Equestrian Partners, investors in Tryon Resort and Tryon International Equestrian Center.[5] This center opened in June 2014. The partners have continued to acquire and develop properties surrounding the center.[6]

In 2016, he added to his Wellington, Florida, equestrian related investments when he purchased the International Polo Club Palm Beach. The property has undergone renovations to aid it in reaching Bellissimo’s stated goal of it becoming the “world center of polo outside of Argentina.[7]

Mark has a wife, Katherine, and four adult children.[8]
