Mark Biesenthal (born November 8, 1974) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player.

Biesentha attended Elmira College where he played with the Elmira College Soaring Eagles the in the NCAA's Division III, and was twice named to the All-Conference First Team.[1]

Biesentha made his professional debut in the ECHL playing the 1998–99 season with the Augusta Lynx. For the 1999–2000 season he moved to the Western Professional Hockey League to play with the Alexandria Warthogs, before returning to the ECHL to play the 2000–01 season with the Birmingham Bulls. For the 2001–02 season he played mostly with the Paisley Pirates of the British National League, but also played in the ECHL with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and Mobile Mysticks, before retiring as a player.

Biesenthal is currently a resident of Georgetown, Ontario where he is the head instructor with Pro@ctive Hockey Development.[2]
