Markham Aquatic Club

The Markham Aquatic Club, created in 1973, is one of only two high-performance designated clubs by Swimming Canada.[1][2] Over the years, it has played a pivotal role in shaping Canada's swimming landscape, being the home to Kayla Sanchez, Javier Acevedo, Brayden Taivassalo, Tessa Cieplucha, Mabel Zavaros, and others. The Markham Aquatic Club currently has over 200 swimmers.
