Marlon Miguel (born July 21, 1979) is a Filipino playwright, TV writer, and former educator. Born in Manila, he graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering, but later pursued his passion for writing. He is the founder of Magwayen Creative Scholars' Guild. He used to be the head of the Office of Student Affairs at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila from 2008 to 2010. He is currently a Senior Writer at GMA Network.

His stage works include the Magwayen plays Bidasari, Señorita Pretenciosa, Indrapura[1], and Eks [2]. He is the Headwriter of several television series Binoy Henyo (2013), Paraiso Ko'y Ikaw (2014), More Than Words (2014), Juan Happy Love Story (2016), Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa (2017), and Madrasta (2019). He is the concept creator of tv shows The Millionaire's Wife (2016), Contessa (2018), Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko (2018), Sahaya (2019), First Yaya (2021), and First Lady (2022).

Awards and nominations[edit]

Marlon Miguel is a recipient of the Gawad Dangal ng Pamantasan in 2011 for being an Outstanding Alumni in the Field of Music, Arts and Culture, given by the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He also won a Palanca Award in the Screenplay Category in 2007, given by the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards.
