Services[edit]

Marqeta is a card issuing and processing platform. Companies use the Marqeta platform to launch and manage their payment card programs. Marqeta works on their behalf with card networks such as Visa Inc., Mastercard Incorporated, Discover, and PULSE and with issuing banks to issue cards, authorize transactions, and communicate with settlement entities.[11] Marqeta's Just-in-Time Funding feature allows card issuers to send cardholders a zero-balance debit card and then to near-instantly transfer funds to the card at the time of the transaction.[12]
