Marshall Chin is an American physician who specializes in internal medicine. He is the Richard Parrillo Family Professor of Healthcare Ethics at the University of Chicago. He is the Associate Director of the University of Chicago's MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics and Senior Faculty Scholar at the Bucksbaum Institute for Clinical Excellence.[1]
Dr. Chin led considerable investigations on health disparities, advising how to improve diabetes care in governmentally qualified health centers serving vulnerable populations with limited resources.[2] His major research work encompasses improving shared decision making among health professionals and LGBTQ racial/ethnic minority patients.[3]
