Marta Kober (born October 23, 1963) is an American film and television actress.
Life and career
Born in New York City, Kober began her acting career in the late 1970s in an episode of the NBC series Special Treat. In 1981, she played Sandra, a young woman who becomes a victim of Jason Voorhees in the horror film Friday the 13th Part 2. Initially, a scene was filmed for the film in which Kober appeared completely nude, but this footage was eliminated from the final version because at that time the actress had not yet reached the age of majority.
She subsequently appeared in films such as Baby, It's You (1983), television films, and episodes of series such as Happy Days, Magnum P.I. and Matlock. She was cast to play the protagonist Tina in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), however, upon discovering that Kober had already participated in the second film, the producers replaced her with Lar Park Lincoln. In the 1990s, the actress returned to the horror genre in Slumber Party Massacre III and made small appearances in the television series Full House and Law & Order; since then, she has remained away from the media.
