Marty Davis

Marty Davis (born January 8, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan) is a former network radio and television news anchor with a master's degree in journalism from the American University, Washington, D.C. (1980).

Davis was married to U.S. Representative Robert W. Davis (1932–2009), a Republican from Michigan, from 1976 to 1989.[1] Congressman Davis represented Michigan's 11th District after his 1978 election until his retirement in 1993.[2] Rep. Davis died in 2009 at 77.

Davis has appeared on such talk radio programs as Westwood One's syndicated The Jim Bohannon Show and WOR 710 New York City.

Davis, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict (April 25, 1996), has hosted talk radio programs to discuss addiction and recovery. In 2012 Davis co-founded Codependents' Anonymous 12-Step group in Charleston, SC.
