Martyn Iles is a lawyer and an Australian political activist. He is currently the Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL).[3] He was Managing Director of the Human Rights Law Alliance until February 2018.

He is currently the Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby (2018– ).[4][5][2]

Iles was the chief of staff at the of the Australian Christian Lobby 2014 to 2016[2][6] and Managing Director of its Human Rights Law Alliance between 2016 and February 2018.[7][8][3]

Lobbying[edit | edit source]

Iles has lobbied on behalf of those objecting to same-sex marriage[9] and for those objecting to abortions.[10][11] He has lobbied for changes in freedom of speech laws.[12]

Iles has lobbied the federal parliament against what he argues is harm being caused to Australian children through access to pornography on the internet.[13]
