Mary Conneely

Career
She played in the Purcell Cup (Division 2) with Waterford Institute of Technology.[citation needed] She also captained St Anne’s Dunhill in their first All Ireland Intermediate club final.[citation needed]
Coaching & Administration
While still playing for her club, she was elected chair of the Waterford camogie board.[citation needed] Although she had retired from this role before Waterford won their breakthrough Munster title, she contributed substantially to the success as coach to the successful Christian Brothers' School, Tramore teams in the secondary schools championship for several decades, on which various future camogie stars were involved and where they would have got their first taste of sport. She later became chair of the Munster colleges council.
