Mason Photography is a Print Selling and Event Photography company based in Portland, Oregon. Mason Photography primarily sells photographs at the Portland Saturday Market on 2 SW Naito Pkwy in Portland. Mason Photography primarily focuses on a genre of photography called "Urban Exploration" Photography. The owner, Thomas Mason, is a Portland Native who grew up in the suburbs of Portland. He started photography at the age of 7 photographing ice crystals on old farm equipment in a nearby town to Crater Lake called Prospect. Within the next two years, Thomas Mason started selling he photographs at his local church, St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, in Beaverton, Oregon. At age eight he donated all proceeds from his photo sales to a non-profit called Medical Teams International. At age 15 during a vendor event for Hoya Vision at the Ecotrust building in Portland, he went on record to say, "I take strong inspiration from the work of my grandfather and the person who taught him." in this he refers to his mother's stepfather, Gorge Olsen, who was a student of photographer Ansel Adams.
