The Massachusetts Conference for Women is an annual nonprofit, nonpartisan leadership & professional conference for working women across industries and functions.
The one-day event is held at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, and draws over 10,000 attendees annually.[1]
The conference is not connected to any particular industry, and although programming is geared toward female professionals, all are welcome.[2] Attendees cite inspiration, connection, skill-building, and networking as key benefits of the conference.[3]
The day's program typically includes two keynote sessions anchored by high-caliber speakers, with a variety of breakout sessions focused on both personal and professional development.[2]
Keynote speakers in 2025 included Simone Biles, Mel Robbins, and Martha Stewart.[3]
Founded in 2004 by board members Marian L. Heard, Gloria Cordes Larson, Carol Fulp and Micho Spring, the Conference has grown to be one of the biggest and most well-attended events for professionals in the Boston area.[4]
The next Massachusetts Conference for Women will be held in Boston on December 3, 2026.[2]
