Massachusetts Teachers Association
Founded in 1844,[1][2] the Massachusetts Teachers Association is a labor union of more than 110,000 teachers, faculty, paraprofessionals, secretaries, and support staff in nearly 400 local associations throughout Massachusetts.[3] The MTA is affiliated with the National Education Association. Its headquarters are in Quincy, Massachusetts,[4] with offices in Auburn, Holyoke, Lynnfield, Pittsfield, and Raynham.[5]
