Massimo Carello (born 1948, Turin) is an Italian businessman with over 40 years of international senior management and director-level experience.
In 1980, Carello became managing director of The Carello Group, a lighting business founded in Turin in 1876 by his great-grandfather. He was appointed chairman and CEO of Fiat UK and Ireland in 1990, a position he held until 2001. He also acted as CEO of Diners Club UK from 2001 to 2004. Currently, Carello is non-executive director of Canaccord Genuity Group, Canadian Overseas Petroleum, and Orsu Metals.
Carello and his second wife, Sara, have lived in London's Chelsea since 1990 and own a villa on Lipari, an island off the coast of Sicily. His two beloved dogs are Georgina and Chilli.[citation needed]
