Massive Monster is an independent game studio based in Southampton, United Kingdom.[1] This studio comprises artists and programmers who had previous success in the peak of the Flash game market. The studio was founded in 2014, with the original 3 members previously being known as Megadev (previously of IOMO). These 3 members were joined by two Flash game developers, "Jimp" and "Jay Armstrong Games". Members of the team have worked on games and series such as: Sushi Cat, Super Adventure Pals, BearBarians, and Zombinsanity.
The studio's first few releases were free online Flash games. Since then, the studio has begun developing more fully-fledged games meant for PC and consoles.
