Mata Din
Professor Mata Din was an Indian legal scholar, advocate, and academic. He was associated with the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, where he served as a Reader. His research focused primarily on the nationalisation of road transport, motor vehicle law, and related constitutional and legal questions.[1][2]
Education
Mata Din received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Ahir College, Rewari. He subsequently obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science.[3][4]
According to a University of Delhi certificate, he passed the Master of Laws (LL.M.) examination in 1967 and was awarded the LL.M. degree at the 1968 Convocation. The certificate is dated 31 January 1968.[5]
He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Delhi. According to the university certificate, the degree was awarded at the 1977 Convocation; the certificate is dated 26 February 1977.[6] Mata Din received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Panjab University through Ahir College, Rewari. Mata Din had an academic and professional association with the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Available university records identify him as a Reader in the Faculty of Law.[1]

A Certificate of Merit for 1966–67 identifies Mata Din as a member of the Law Union and refers to his services and a special prize.[14]
A document also records that he held a National Cadet Corps (NCC) Senior Division “C” Certificate. The available certificate refers to the Certificate “C” Examination held in January 1955 and to the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
