Matakot Ka sa Karma is a 2006 Filipino horror film written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes. Produced under Canary Films, it is one of the official entries for the 2006 Metro Manila Film Festival and one of Javier Reyes' entries for the event alongside Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo. The film stars Gretchen Barretto, Rica Peralejo, and Angelica Panganiban respectively.
Plot summary[edit]
An antique shop has displayed old items and furniture, each of them having their own stories from the past. Three individuals received an item each, not knowing their secret pasts. Aleli purchases an antique bed, unbeknownst that the bed's previous owner is on the loose and claim's to be Aleli's son. Mariel and her husband buys an cabinet that houses a young man who have died previously. And Trina receives a necklace without knowing that a possessed dresser is out to take her soul.
