El Matareyya is a station on Cairo Metro Line 1, part of the Cairo Metro network in Egypt. It serves the busy district of El Matareyya in eastern Cairo, a densely populated and commercially active area.
The station was opened in 1989 during the northern extension of Line 1. Like other stations on this section, El Matareyya is an elevated station with two side platforms.
