Mateusz Malina is a Polish world champion and world record holding freediver.

Matuesz, known as Matt among his freediving friends,[1] has set world records a total of eleven times. He achieved his first world record in the dynamic apnea without fins (DNF) discipline on 9 November 2014 at the BRNO freediving competition[3] with a 226 metre dive. He became a world champion on 25 June 2015, diving 214 metres in the dynamic no fins (DNF) discipline at the world championships in Belgrade, Serbia. He set his first world record in the dynamic apnea with fins discipline (DYN) on 27 May 2016 and became a Polish Champion with a dive of 285 metres at the Polish Pool Championships.[1] Malina set his first world record in the free immersion discipline (FIM) at the Vertical Blue 2022 competition on 11 August 2022 in Blue Dean's Blue Hole, Long Island, Bahamas with a dive of 127 metres.[4]
