    Math-o-mir is free mathematical software designed to act as a math notebook and intended to provide ability for rapid typing of math expressions.[1] It, therefore, best fits into the notetaking software group. The software exposes a simple notepad interface to the user providing a similar experience as writing on the paper.[2] The user can map keyboard shortcuts to math symbols[3] in order to gain higher typing speed.
