Mathieu Julien
Mathieu Julien (b.1982) is a French artist from Bordeaux.[1] Mathieu Julien moved from Paris to the USA in 2020, with his wife Jin Angdoo. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.[2]
Career[edit]
Mathieu Julien studied product design in the Bordeaux Magendie School in 2002, and later at the ESAA school in Troyes City in 2004.[1] Mathieu Julien is part of art collective group “Moderne Jazz”, based between Paris and Marseille, alongside artists; Jin Angdoo, Hams Klemens, and Kevin Pinsembert. Mathieu Julien notes that Moderne Jazz was created: "because we [artists in the collective] felt good together and somehow related in the way we paint and behave".[3]
