Mathu Andersen (born 1964)[1] is an Australian makeup artist, photographer, graphic designer, former nightclub fixture and drag queen. He is best known for working alongside designer Zaldy Goco to create the 'The Monster', the supermodel-inspired drag alterego of RuPaul Charles.[2][3] As a makeup artist, he worked on Michael Jackson's "This Is It" tour[4], the music videos for Ex-Boyfriend by No Doubt[5] and No Scrubs by TLC[6], and the television shows of RuPaul's Drag Race (2010-2016) and America's Next Top Model (cycle 5).[7] He has garnered high praise from collaborators and others in the industry, with makeup artist Billy B describing him as "the most amazing makeup artist to ever walk the earth"[8] and Alaska 5000 referring to him as the "ultimate standard [...] of [cosmetic] beauty."[9]
