Mathuranatha Tarkavagisha

Mathuranatha Tarkavagisha (Sanskrit: मथुरानाथ तर्कवागीश; IAST: Mathurānātha Tarkavāgīśa) was an author of the Navya-Nyāya school of logic[1] in the 16th century.

He is associated with Raghunatha Siromani (according to tradition, his teacher), Madhusūdana Sarasvatī (his student) as well as Harirāma Tarkavāgīśa, Śrīrāma Tarkālaṅkāra and Jagadīśa Tarkālaṅkāra (one or several of which may refer to his father and teacher).[1]
