Matt Ember

Matt Ember new article content ... Matt Ember is a film and television writer/producer. He lives in Los Angeles, where he has worked for the past 33 years, starting in 1987 in television, moving into feature films in 2005, and back to television in 2019. While the shows he worked on were mostly cancelled, although there were also many hits like Step by Step, The Drew Carey Show, Grace Under Fire, and Becker, his films have all been successful -- Failure to Launch, Get Smart, and Home. The War with Grandpa, starring Robert DeNiro, is scheduled to be released in October of 2020 after a lengthy hold up due to The Weinstein Company scandal.

He returned to television as a Consulting Producer on The Conners, the reboot of the long-running hit Roseanne, minus Roseanne.
