Matt Hart is an American professional basketball player for the Rochester Razorsharks of North American Premier Basketball. He played college basketball for Hamilton College and George Washington.
High school career[edit]
Hart attended Canisius High School where he averaged 15.0 points as a senior was named by The Buffalo News as Third Team Class A All-State and All-Western New York First Team honors.[1]
College career[edit]
Hart started his college career at Hamilton College, where he played two seasons from 2012 to 2014. Hart was First Team All-NESCAC his sophomore season and lead the NESCAC in scoring.[2]
He transferred to George Washington University in 2014, sat a year, and played his last two seasons of eligibility from 2015 to 2017.[3][4] In 2016, he participated in the George Washington University's winning of the National Invitation Tournament.[5]
During the four seasons of his Division III and Division I NCAA career, Hart scored 1171 points.
Professional career[edit]
After going undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft, Hart was drafted by the Niagara River Lions of the National Basketball League of Canada fifth overall in the 2017 draft and made it on their training camp roster.[6] He never appeared with the River Lions and instead joined the Rochester Razorsharks in December 2017.[7]
