Matt Ingalls (born 1970) is an American composer, clarinetist, concert producer, and computer music programmer.[1][self-published source]

In 1994, he was a Finalist in the Bourges Concours International de Musique Electronique Electroacoustic (Categorie Humor - Puy).[2][better source needed]

Software[edit]

Ingalls is the developer of MacCsound a real-time Macintosh version of the music synthesis program, Csound.[3] He is also the creator of the Soundflower Mac OS X utility for routing audio among multiple applications.[4][self-published source]

Academia[edit]

Ingalls holds degrees in composition from The University of Texas at Austin and Mills College. Ingalls has taught music courses at The University of San Francisco and Dartmouth College.[1][self-published source]
