Kennedy started multiple bands in high school including J.A.C.K. (Just Another Common Kid), and Harrison, which eventually became The Graduate.

Musical Career

After recording their EP Horror Show with Seth Henderson in Northern Indiana, The Graduate quickly garnered label attention from Drive-Thru Records, Hopeless Records, Fueled by Ramen, Downtown Records, and eventually signed with Icon MES Records in New York City, owned by Transworld. The Graduate toured with bands such as Jack’s Mannequin, The Audition, Simple Plan, Anathallo, Secondhand Serenade, The New Amsterdams, The Hire, Sparks the Rescue, and played festivals ranging from Warped Tour to Summerfest, and Rock AM SEE.
