Matt Murphy Productions is a New York City-based theatrical production company providing creative and financial support for a wide variety of theatre projects.[1]

Early history[edit]

Matt Murphy Productions was founded in 2006 by Matt Murphy, a producer of Memphis, Thurgood, Impressionism, and Altar Boyz,[2] and Virtually Me a touring musical.[3]

The company produced the 2014 Broadway revival of Side Show,[4] the off-Broadway comedy Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, which was written by Murphy from the bestselling novel of the same name, and the Berenstain Bears Live in Family Matters, the Musical based on the Berenstain Bears children's books.[5]
