Matt Pop is a Dutch record producer, remixer and DJ.
Matt Pop has produced, written or remixed for artists like Peter Wilson, RuPaul, Nicki French, Cilla Black, Andy Bell, Mai Tai, Luv', Supreme Voices, Pierre Pascual, Same Difference, Hazell Dean, Sammy Paul, Massive Ego, Sonia, Samantha Fox, Lonnie Gordon, Xelle, Teresa Marie, Unit-911, Carol Hahn, La Toya Jackson, Sinitta, Adam Lopez, Candy Apple Blue[1] and many others.
Additionally, Matt Pop has created unofficial mixes for tracks of e.g. ABBA, Anni-Frid Lyngstad (in duet with Marie Fredriksson), Enya, Loreen, Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue.
After Matt Pop started posting his work on YouTube, he started getting requests as a producer and remixer. He has been doing mixes for Almighty Records since 2010.[2] Matt Pop's works are melodic and harmonious and often feature synthesizers and drum machines.
The name Matt Pop is a small homage to the Swedish producer Denniz PoP. Matt is an abbreviation of Matt Pop's real name, which he likes to keep private.[2]
