Matt Schepke (born January 3, 1985) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He last played for the Evansville IceMen in the ECHL.
Playing career
On August 10, 2010, the Trenton Devils traded Schepke to the Greenville Road Warriors in exchange for forward Ryan Hayes.[1]
After starting the 2012–13 season with the Greenville Road Warriors, Schepke was released after only 7 games and was later signed to a contract by fellow ECHL club, the Evansville IceMen on December 10, 2012. On January 28, he signed for the Braehead Clan in the United Kingdom's Elite Ice Hockey League.[2][3]
On July 31, 2013, he returned to North America to re-sign with Evansville.[4] In the 2013–14 season, Schepke scored 23 goals and 51 points in 62 games, before announcing his retirement at the final regular season game as the IceMen missed the post-season.[5]
