Matthew Colville, is an American novelist, video game writer, and YouTuber, best known for his Running the Game series in which he discusses the cultural and philosophical impact of tabletop role-playing games (mostly Dungeons & Dragons), his Ratcatcher series of novels, as well as his work as writer for the comic series Critical Role - Vox Machina Origins.
