Matthew Dobson (born 16 December 1986) is a South African rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is hooker. He represented [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions between 2011 and 2013, having previously played for [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the Varsity Cup between 2008 and 2010.

He left [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] at the start of 2014 to continue his playing career in England.
