Matthew Janney (born 23 July 1992) is an English rugby union player. His position is centre and he currently plays for Oxford University RFC and the Georgia rugby sevens team.[1][2] Janney was also part of the Varsity-winning Oxford Blues team in 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015. He spent the second year of his studies in Yaroslavl, where he played fly-half for the semi-professional rugby club Flagman.[3]
Early life
Janney was born in London. He is of Georgian descent and studied Russian at Oriel College, Oxford. He also dated Emma Watson.[1][4]
