Matthew Romeo is a Canadian musical artist based in Toronto, Canada.[1][2] Romeo is best known as a radio and club DJ. Romeo was recognized as one of 33 highlighted Social Influencers in a book Glorious & Free: The Canadians.[3][4][5]

Career

Romeo was born in Toronto, Ontario. Romeo started his career creating and distributing mixtapes. Later, he started DJing at local clubs.[6][7] He also worked as a radio host of a music program Masterplan Show for the University of Toronto radio station CIUT’s 89.5 FM. He also co-hosted Sirius XM's first international broadcast of Sway in the Morning.[8]

In 2016, Matthew became the first Canadian member of the Demolition Crew DJs, a group of DJs mentored by Grandmaster Flash.[9]

In 2017, Matthew joined Main Source as the newest member.[10]
