Matthew Rush (born Gregory Andrew Grove[2][3] on September 22, 1972) is an American gay pornographic film actor, magazine model, and a bodybuilder and personal trainer. He has competed at the Gay Games in Amsterdam and Sydney.[4]
Career[edit]
Rush was under a lifetime exclusive pornographic career contract with Falcon Studios that ended in 2009[5] so he could pursue other projects in the pornographic industry.[6] His first post-Falcon project was a pornographic video and photo shoot with photographer Jon Royce on January 22, 2009.[7]
Rush's career was revitalized when he joined the website MenOver30.com in 2009.
In 2010, he won Grabby Award and GayVN Award in the category "Best Versatile Performer".[8]
Rush has appeared in the TV detective film Third Man Out, starring Chad Allen, and in the motion picture Another Gay Movie.[9] From 2002 to 2005, he acted in a traveling stage production of Ronnie Larsen's Making Porn.[10]
His retirement from the pornographic industry, announced in October 2011, was short lived[11] when he returned to making pornographic films in January 2012.[12]

Arrests[edit]
On March 2, 2017, Grove was arrested on a domestic battery charge on Thursday by the Broward County, Florida Sheriff's office.[13]
On September 19, 2017, Grove was again arrested in Broward County and charged with possession/use of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.[14][2] After the felony possession charge was dropped, bond was posted, then cancelled; while still facing a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia charge, Grove was arrested again on January 17, 2018, for failing to respond to court date notices to resolve the misdemeanor issue. Following that arrest and with the remaining charges resolved, Grove was ordered to enter a drug diversion program.[3]
