Maurice Eaddy (Born June 4th, 1995) is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the sprinting events. Eaddy attended Jordan Matthews high school; During his senior year became state champion in the 100 meter dash and a New balace National emerging elite champion while also breaking the EE national record in the 100 meter dash.
A native of Siler City, North Carolina; Eaddy attended the University of North Carolina A&T for 3 years before deciding to pursue his professional career. During his second year of college he qualified for the USATF Indoor Championships in the 60 meter dash, he placed 11th over all with a time of 6.76 seconds. During his final indoor season as a collegiate athlete he became the MEAC Conference 60 meter dash champion. Unfortunately after advancing to the D1 NCAA Indoor National Track and Field Championships, Eaddy placed 13th overall with a time of 6.66 in the 60 meter dash. During his outdoor season he was apart of the 4x100 meter relay who competed and placed 14th overall at D1 NCAA Outdoor Nationals Track and Field Championships.
Eaddy currently trains, and lives in Clermont Florida. He is coached by Dennis Mitchell the head coach of Sprint Star Athletics.
