Max Burkhart (27 September 2000 – 6 December 2017) was a German alpine ski racer who competed for SC Partenkirchen.[1]
On 5 December 2017, Burkhart crashed in a NorAm Cup Downhill race in Lake Louise, Canada. The race was on the very same run as the men and Ladies downhill race just days before. He suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to hospital, where he died the following day.[2][3]
