Noel Patrick "Max" Christmas AM (26 March 1939 – 18 December 2020) was an Australian real estate agent and developer, tourism advocate, community leader, and local government official, best known for his significant contributions to the economic and civic development of the Gold Coast, Queensland. Early life and career
Max Christmas began his professional life as a builder before entering the real estate industry. In 1971, he established his own agency, Max Christmas Real Estate, on Orchid Avenue in Surfers Paradise, where he operated for 33 years until his retirement in 2004. His agency became synonymous with high-profile property transactions and played a pivotal role in marketing the Gold Coast to both domestic and international investors. Christmas was renowned for his dynamic promotional style, often referred to as the "Max Factor," which he employed to attract global interest in Gold Coast real estate.

Max and Liz were married from 1979 until his passing on 18 December 2020, aged 81. Christmas is survived by his wife, five children, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
