Max Keenlyside is a Canadian pianist and composer. He is known for his work in ragtime and stride piano styles. Keenlyside was born in late 1991.
Biography[edit]
Keenlyside began playing piano at the age of ten.[2] His interests in piano performance and composition simultaneously began with ragtime, and later expanded to include concert band and other instrumental forms.[3]
His musical work is derived from the stride, ragtime and classic jazz piano traditions, with special emphasis on the work of Scott Joplin and Jelly Roll Morton.[4][5] He has been featured on a CBC Radio concert presentation.[6][7]
