Max Marlow (born December 31, 1995) is a British filmmaker, writer and producer. He is best known for his viral 3D animated short film Thatching Eggs (2020)[2] and producing Oscar shortlisted film Good Boy (2023).[3][4][5]

Career[edit]

In 2017, after being rejected at Pixar Animation Studios, he embarked on making his own 3D animated short film named Thatching Eggs (2020).[citation needed] In 2020, after small success in an online festival run[6], he shared a clip of this to TikTok, where it had a viral response in receiving over 2 million views in a day.[2][7]
