Max Zanan (born October 14, 1976) is an American automotive industry executive and author. Max is the founder and CEO of auto industry businesses including IDDS Group[1][2], Total Dealer Compliance and Rideshare Knight. Prior to founding these businesses, Max was a manager in the auto retail business.
Early Life
Max Zanan was born in Moscow on October 14, 1976. He moved to the United States in 1992 at the age of 16. He finished Fort Hamilton High School with merit and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Master's Degree in Protection Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.[3]
Career
Max began his automotive career as a salesman at Potamkin Volkswagen. He later became Finance Manager at Kings Plaza Jeep & Chrysler and then General Manager at Five Towns Mitsubishi.
Max launched his own business, becoming the CEO of Elite Auto Group and the Executive Director of Vehicle Manufacturer's Services. He also founded additional businesses in the automotive industry including IDDS Group,[4] Total Dealer Compliance, Rideshare Knight and Rideshare Guardian.
Max is a speaker at automotive industry conferences and events[5] and is published and referenced in automotive trade publications.[6][7] He is a regular contributor to business publications.[8]
Max is the author of Perfect Dealership: Surviving The Digital Disruption,[9] a book which focuses on the future of the automotive industry.[10][11] and Car Business 101 (December 2018).
Personal Life
Max lives in Manhattan with his wife Renata Zanan and daughter Sharon Nefedov.
