The Maxim Krivonos Battalion or the "Maxim Krivonos" volunteer detachment is a battalion made up of Ukrainian defectors during the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, unlike the Bogdan Khmelnitsky Battalion which recruits Ukrainian prisoners of war.[1] During the Pokrovsk offensive, the battalion took positions near Mine No. 1 northeast of the city of Novohrodivka.[2]
