Maximillian J. Hekmat, is a scientist and Environmental Health and Safety professional. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he moved to the United States of America, where he completed his education at University of Minnesota. He has a bachelor of science in Chemistry, a Master of Industrial Safety, and an MBA. His publications are in fields of semiconductor operations[1], general safety[2], ergonomics[3], and biotechnology[4] to mention a few.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, he worked for Fortune 500 companies in specialty chemicals, biotech, and semiconductor industries. He started his career in the Midwest and later moved to California, the Bay area[5]. He is a member of professional organizations such as American Society of Safety Professionals, American Industrial Hygiene Association, Industrial Hazardous Materials Management, and National Registry of Environmental Professionals. He holds certifications from a variety of professional organizations and has contributed to national and local organizations.
