Maxset Otemuratov — (English: Makhset Otemuratov Kuenimjaevich; (Karakalpak: Maxset Otemuratov Kuenimjaevich; Uzbek: Maqsedboy Utemurodov; Russian: Махсет Отемуратов Кеунимжаевич) (born 14 June 1978, in Nukus) People's Artist of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan of Karakalpak origin. He was popular among the people with his song “Gulimsen”. Maxset has recorded songs both in Uzbek and karakalpak.
Life
Makhset Otemuratov was born on June 14, 1978 in the Akmangyt village of the Nukus region in a simple family. Father: Utemuratov Keulimzhai - March 21, 1940 Mother: Utemuratova Aksulu - March 8, 1946 In 1985 he went to secondary school-1 named after Frunze, and from 1990 he continued his studies at the 21st secondary school named after Berdakh, graduating successfully in 1995. In 1996 he entered the Faculty of Physical Education of the Nukus Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiyaz. 1996-1997 he was elected the head of the "Turan" team. From these years he began his work. In 1996, at the competition dedicated to the memory of the deceased Zamira Khozhanazarova, he took the honorable 3rd place. Here, capturing the attention of honorary teachers, he entered the big stage. In 1999, having successfully graduated from the university, he began to work as a methodologist in the department of work with talented children. In 2000, for the first time in the history of Karakalpakstan, the "Turan" team won the Republican round of the "Kunaklar Ham Ziyirekler" competition and received a gold cup. Makhset Otemuratov was awarded a diploma of Jokara Kenes of Karakalpakstan.
