May68, stylised as MAY68, were a five-piece electropop band formed in Manchester in 2007. Their music was described by NME as "tight and sleek disco nuggets, glamorous and totally accessible"[1] and by Clash as "bleepy disco-pop with a political edge".[2]
The group disbanded in October 2011.
Career
Their debut single "My Ways" was self-released on Hit Club in March 2010. Their second single "The Prisoner" was released on Kitsuné in October 2010.[3]
They toured extensively throughout Europe in 2010 and 2011.
In June 2010, the band were chosen to play on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury Festival.[4][5]
In October 2011, their third single "White Lies" was released on Black Duck Records.
